WORD FOCUS: YOU WILL NOT SINK
TEXT: Matthew 13:30-31 “Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. Jesus declares that in this world we will have tribulations and trials (Jn 16:33) but the good news is that we have peace in Jesus Christ. Have you been looking to yourself and thinking you can do it yourself but all to no avail. Jesus says, “without me you can do nothing” (Jn 15:5). Do you look up to friends, relations, associates to help you in times of trouble? Sometimes God would want them to help but you must look up to Jesus first and let Him direct you, otherwise you would be misdirected by self or enslaved by them in order to get the needed assistance. Beloved, there are always things God wants us to learn from challenges. Do not concentrate on your challenge, it will only weigh you down and keep you away from God, your ever present help. Talk to Him (Jesus) instead of worrying it and leave it at His feet. Also to the one who has not yet given his life to Christ, you need to call on Jesus today to save you.

You may not realize the depth to which you are sinking spiritually because as it were, things are going on well with you physically. Life without Christ is death. God’s promise of continual presence and help is only to those who receive Him into their lives. Call on Jesus today, He is waiting! God will never forsake those who trust in Him. Trust Him to take care of your challenges and problems or to help you endure it. Surely songs of praise will spring forth from your mouth in Jesus name.
