YOU ARE A PRICELESS VESSEL

FRIDAY 31ST JAN., 2020

WORD FOCUS: YOU ARE A PRICELESS VESSEL
TEXT: 2 Corinthians 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us…”

God did not create man to be self-contained; that is why He constantly refers to us as vessels. A vessel is simply a container designed to be filled with contents. The bible refers to this container as a treasure. The content of the vessel is more important than the vessel itself. So God recreated us in Christ and filled us up with Himself. In other words, God is our content. One of the objectives of God filling us up with Himself is to empower us to live and enjoy the benefits of the blessing. The content of the vessel determines what the vessel can do, not what the people handling the vessel are saying. Likewise, circumstances, challenges, economic downturn, public opinion or any other issue in life cannot determine your value as a vessel. So whoever said you are not useful has no knowledge of the ability of God that is in you. Because you are filled with God, the greater one, He has equipped you with all it takes to be successful.

Beloved, you may have been raised up from a very humble setting, written off by people, but I have good news for you, you are not a mere man! Remember, the value of the vessel is determined by the content of the vessel not by the external circumstances. Dwelling in your spirit is the capon of all spirits, so why are you afraid of prevailing situations when the greater one dwells in you?

Boldly declare over yourself; I recognize that the greater One lives inside of me. I am a vessel of God’s mercy ordained for honor. Before God my worth is priceless by reason of Jesus shed blood on the cross. From this day, I approach situations and challenge the way God sees me. My value and worth is not define by the opinion of others, it is defined by the treasure {Jesus} that I carry on the inside. I acknowledge that I am not sufficient unto myself to boast of anything, for my content {Jesus} is my sufficiency
