TOPIC: TODAY LET’S REMEMBER THAT!
TEXT: Deut 8:18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God,for it is He who gives you power to get wealth,that he may establish His covenant which He swore to your Fathers, as it is this Day.”

In times of plenty, we often take credit for our prosperity and become proud that our own hard work and cleverness has made us rich. It is easy to get so busy collecting and managing wealth that we push God right out of our lives, lets remember that it is God who gives us everything we have and it is us to manage it for him,we are stewards of His resources. When you get a few wins it is easy to forget who’s responsible for your success.Where once you would have consulted God, you now launch out on your own and ask him to add His blessing to your decisions.’ Remember who made your success possible, live with gratitude and dependence on God!
Looking back on how God blessed Israel, the Psalmist records, then, they believed His words: they sang His praise, but they soon forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel (Ps.106:12-13). God warned Israel: ‘When,..your Silver and Gold multiplied, and all that you have Is multiplied….You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant„,’ (Deut 8:13,18). Today, Lets remember that! When God called Abraham and he moved in faith, God established a covenant with him,telling him that he would be a father of a great nation Not only would this Nation be Blessed through Abraham, God said other nations of the earth would be blessed through him.
Today, remember that all you have and are enjoying is because of The One Man- JESUS CHRIST. Lets remember that and give glory to God Alone.
