TOPIC: POWER IN THE WORD OF GOD
TEXT: Heb 4:12 “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart..”

The word of God is powerful and has the ability to make things happen. The word of God is instructive, contains blessings and promises. It produces results when it is rightly applied to our circumstances and situations.
If God has spoken, that which He says comes to pass. The word of God reveals all we need to know and how to apply it to get the desired results.
The word of God has the power to create life and sustain life (Jn 6:63, Ps 33:6&9), cleanse, deliver and sanctify (Jn 17:17, Ps 119:9&11); the word of God gives us the ability to fight against the enemy (Eph 6:17). The word of God is a powerful instrument God has given us to meet our needs on earth. Are you going through any challenge in your life today? The word of God has the solution.
Faithfulness to God’s word triggers God’s blessings. All you need now and all you can ever need, is in the word of God. Through the knowledge of the word of God, we can avoid so many pitfalls and tragedies through wrong decisions and the choices we make, resulting in sorrow. Be determined to treat God’s word with the seriousness it deserves.
