TOPIC: GOD IS COMPLETELY RELIABLE
TEXT: Heb 6:13-18 “For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,….”

It is easy to get discouraged thinking God has forgotten us, but God never forgets. He is neither unfair nor unmindful of the plight of His children. He is completely reliable. You may think God has abandoned you and that this life has nothing to offer, but God knows you more than you know yourself.
God is an embodiment of truth and He therefore cannot lie. Because God is truth, you can be completely secure in His promises. You do not need to wonder if He will change His mind or plans. For those who come to Him must believe that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. This assurance should give you courage and hope. God kept His promises to Abraham (Gen 17:7-8).
God’s truthfulness to His word applies not only to Abraham, but also to us according to His word if only we can depend on Him totally. Circumstances may change, human beings may change but God remains the same. In all that will be going on with you today, God is able to see you through, if only you will tell it to Him and completely trust Him. He is never too late, He is completely reliable.
