TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK
TEXT: I Thessalonians 2:13 “For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.”

When you believe and receive the truth of God’s Word in your heart, it automatically takes root and begins to work in your life! You may not always see it right away. You may not always feel it, but know that God has began a good work in you, and He is faithful to complete it. When you are faithful to receive His Word, by His grace it opens the door for Him to work.
The Bible tells us that the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword. In other words, if there is any confusion in your life, or if anything is unclear, the Word of God will divide
the truth from the lies. (2 Tim 3:16-17). We must test the spirits to see whether they are from God (IJn 4:2) The Word of God will direct you and light the path you should take.
The Psalmist also talks about loving the Word of God and making it your meditation night and day. I encourage you to find a few scriptures and write them on note cards. Ask the Lord to make those
verses come alive in your heart. As you pursue and love the Word of God, you will see Him working. You will rise higher in every area and live the abundant life He has in store for you. Read (John
6:29). Father thank You for Your Spirit and Your Word which enables me to test the spirits and fix my eyes on You, the author and finisher of my faith.
