TOPIC: GOD HONOURS HIS NAME ON OUR BEHALF
TEXT: Is 37:14-20, 33-38 “And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD. Then Hezekiah prayed to the LORD, saying: “O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, the One who dwells between the cherubim,…”

Sometimes we do not get the required answers to prayers because we pray with the wrong motive. God responded speedily to Hezekiah’s prayer because His name was at stake. We must be so identified with God that our main concern is to uphold God’s reputation and honour all the time. When you honour God as Lord over all situations, God will respond to you speedily and your enemies will be put to shame.
Allow God to show up on your behalf today. He has all the answers to your unanswered question! Through prayers, we renew our trust in God’s faithfulness by laying all our problems, challenges, worries and anxieties on Him. God cares for us and promises to give us a way of escape and release His peace into our troubled minds.
