WORD FOCUS: THERE IS TIME FOR EVERYTHING
TEXT: Ecclesiastes 3:1-10 “1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;…”

God has an eternal plan that includes the purposes and activities of every person on earth. Therefore it is important that we give ourselves to God and allow the Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s plan for us. Patience is golden and it is a very important virtue in a Christian’s life. God has His different plan for each of us. While some are in their harvest season, others are in their seed sowing time. Know that different people will do different activities based on their current seasons in life. Some are early starters in life. The reason we are impatient with God and want to do things our own way is that we compare ourselves with others. Do not compare and do not try to imitate other people.

The word of God admonishes us that those who compare themselves to others are not wise. You may desire a child/children, job, change of job, business, admission into school, a house, a car, etc. Jesus says to you today wait for your appointed time. All you need do is to turn your heart to God, obey His will and desire to have close fellowship with Him. Your future is in the hands of God. He is the God who has destined your life; He has the blue print of your life. Allow Him execute His plan and purpose for your life. It is the best decision you can make today and be sincere in your waiting for His time, ask to hear Him and be willing to obey. Do not fret when you see those around you prospering. Do not compare yourself with anybody because God has a definite plan for your life. Keep trusting God to bring about your blessings at His own time. God will satisfy you, if you wait patiently on Him.
