WORD FOCUS:  HE GIVES DIRECTION FOR PROVISIONS

TEXT: Luke 22:9-13 “So they said to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare?…”

Jesus asked His disciples to get a place for the preparation of the Passover. He knew where the provisions He requested would be found. The disciples did not have a clue to the venue of their meeting. They asked Jesus “where do you want us to prepare?’ in other words they were asking “where are the provisions?” In response, Jesus gave detailed instruction on how to locate the provision

Provisions are the things required to accomplish any God-given assignment, vision or goals in business, ministry, etc. following the instructions of Jesus, the disciples found the place just as He had said to them. The experience of the disciples is also a timeless example of how to locate divine provision. So instead of engaging in the stress of searching for the resources to accomplish your God-given vision, seek the Lord for the divine direction. God has already prepared the people and the resources you need. You need just one detailed instruction to access what you need.  Beloved, are you ready to be led by God? It is the only way to access His provisions. You cannot assume your way into God’s provisions, you must be led by the Spirit of God to access what God has set aside for You to fulfill your assignment. Although God delights in hiding things, He also reveals the same things to those that diligently seek Him [Proverbs 25:2; Heb.11:6]. Stop searching for provisions; begin to seek God for direction. He is waiting to give you the direction, so be sensitive to His prompting in your spirit and obey the instruction.

The value of any directive God gives to you lies in your obedience to the instruction. The divine opportunities you can see are controlled by your obedience. The same way the disciples found the room fully furnished just like Jesus said, you will come into prepared provision this week following the Lord’s instruction and your complete obedience. Declare, from today, I disengage from searching for provision on my own terms, I yield totally to God’s directions.
